Soft and Neutral
I love Kevyn Aucoin. The man was a genius. This look is inpired by the last portrait in Kevyn's book, Face Forward. He did Madonna in very soft colors and called it Muse. I did it mostly in shades of pale pink. Here's what I used:
Flaxen matte eyeshadow to conceal dark brown areas, applied with AL taklon concealer brush. PurePowder/PureCover mix in 1Y/2Y applied with kabuki brush. Very light dusting of 3Y applied with kabuki brush. Damask frost eyeshadow applied wet with taklon brush over entire eye. Ebony/Umber matte eyeshadow mix applied with push brush very close to top and bottom lashes (also applied with stiff brow brush to brows). Raisin frost eyeshadow applied wet with foxy bent eyeliner brush right over Ebony/Umber line. Raisin smudged dry with tiny brush over wet line. Raisin applied dry with AL Sexy eyeshadow brush to crease, blended and softened with AL shady eyeshadow brush. Ice matte eyeshadow applied dry with AL sexy e/s brush right under browbone. Champagne Pure Blush applied to cheeks, temples and chin with Flat Top Angel Brush. Clear lip balm on lips, then used a blush brush to dust champagne blush on top, then more lip balm. Physician's Formula cream mascara.
