Maggie is my fifth child and only daughter. She's the sweetest girl in the world. She's beautiful and smart and funny and a chatterbox.
Maggie is also very nurturing. She never grabs a snack without asking me if I'd like one, too. She's always wanting to take care of me; sometimes I forget which one of us is the mother! She's just such a loving daughter.
Having grown up with sisters, I always wanted sons. I never realized how very much I needed a daughter. As Maggie grows up, I find myself more and more looking to her with such hope. She's just got so much going for her and I want her to have all of her heart's desires. I can't wait to watch her following her dreams and finding her place in the world.
Maggie is the answer to the prayer that I didn't even know was in my heart.
