My love of makeup goes beyond vanity. I love the transformation. I'm fascinated how one shade can make your eyes pop while another makes them all but disappear. I can play for hours with shading and highlighting, adding contours and angles where there were none.
I've put makeup on my sisters, my daughter and friends. But usually, I put it on my own face. And that brings me to this section of my website.
These are various looks that I've done using mostly Aromaleigh Mineral Makeup. Aromaleigh is my HG (holy grail) foundation. I happen to own about 85% of the shades that Aromaleigh makes if you count those that have been discontinued. I mention this because I believe you can achieve any look using nothing but mineral makeup. I love the traditional stuff, too, but for so many reasons (most mentioned elsewhere on my website), I prefer to stick with Aromaleigh mineral makeup.
You'll also notice that my eyes change colors in these pictures. That's because I love playing with different colored contact lenses. I have my nephew's girlfriend, Janna, to thank for that obsession.
My Chicago look is the result of a challenge by the owner of Aromaleigh, Kristen Leigh Bell. It's based on the makeup from the movie "Chicago." Likewise, my Rock&Roll look was a challenge from Kristen. We had lots of fun doing these different looks and posting them at the company forum.
