Who Took It?

Two of my sons, my daughter and I all have phones that accommodate a micro sd card. I have a card; they don’t. I know they don’t have these cards. They know I know.

So who swiped my card and thought I wouldn’t notice? Of course, no one will admit to taking it. I’ve looked everywhere it could possibly be and it’s just gone.

I don’t want to buy another card right now and honestly, I don’t really need one. I guess I’m just upset that the one I had is now gone. How do these inanimate objects just walk away from my house?

  • The worst part about that is after you buy another one, the one you lost will show up in the most obvious place.

  • What actually happened and what surprises most people is that inanimate objects are not inanimate after all. They periodically get up and wander to new locations. A very strange phenomenon.

  • Marisa, my poor daughter has the same problem with her children. They think everything she has is theirs. That’s what happens when your kids know how much you love them…

    Hope it turns up..

  • Single out the weakest kid and force a confession!

Ok, seriously though, those memory cards are freakishly tiny. So perhaps one of your kids ‘borrowed’ it, and then lost it, and now s(he) can’t replace the one you’re missing.

So get yourself a replacement, and just remember to install it while everyone is present.

  • Hope your card turns up soon! I know how much this is irritating you… I had the same problems with my children, but thank God, they all grew up to become wise men :)

    Do not worry!

  • that sucks. :( and it doesn’t bode well. that kind of thing could happen again if that person gets away with it. tricky situation though. hope it gets resolved.

  • Why are you so quick to blame one of the children? Especially if you’ve already looked in their phones and nothing? Unless there are other precedents that would make you think they took something of yours I would count it off as bad luck.

  • My kids are the exact same way. Nothing ever stays in its place for more then a day. Best of luck on finding it.
