Kendyll was born on my cousin Freddy’s birthday, too. We lost Freddy in 1976 in a car accident and Kendyll’s dad looks very much like him and has his temper, too. So her birth on that day was kind of eerie, but in a good way.

One minute they’re babies and wrapped up in a fluffy
blanket, the next they are going to school and then
you find them going to work and getting married.

You are so very blessed. I’m still waiting for grandbabies. I hope I can have as warm and close a relationship with my own grandkids someday as you have with Kendyll.

And she shares my son’s birthday (thirty-five years removed.) I didn’t realize that until today.
