thanks for the link, i’ve always thought about travel insurance but haven’t gone through the motions to actually get it, thankfully nothing has ever happened but better to be safe than sorry, especially since im going to spain for a couple months next year.

Thanks for the reminder of a very important travel issue. Years ago, an aunt of mine had a heart attack in Spain, and it took weeks to work out the insurance ramifications for her airlift to Madrid. It was a nightmare, but one we all learned from.

Yeah I agree with you. Although generally all my travels are being covered by my credit card company, I still feel that this is insufficient. That’s why I also get some other external coverage as well. The mnui link that you mentioned here sure helps a lot to provide options for us.

Thank you, I never thought to ask, nor did I think about it..
I’ll check our policy and be sure to check from now on. This is very serious….and I could just see one of us having a problem..recently we were in Sicily and I opted not to take insurance thinking ours would cover us…
