Home For Christmas?

Jesse called over the weekend and still isn’t sure whether he’s coming home for Christmas or not. I don’t want to put more pressure on him but I sure do miss him. How do I beg him to come home without making him feel bad if he can’t? I don’t. I just wait and hope.
Last year he surprised me on Christmas Eve which was good except that I didn’t have a present for him. He didn’t seem to care but I did. I was thinking of sending him a gift certificate. He’s really close to Princeville where there’s a beautiful golf course so maybe an Ogio gift card would be nice. Jesse loves all sports and when he isn’t working, he’s out playing something.
Oh, wait! I know. If Jesse doesn’t come home for Christmas, I’ll head out there in January to take care of him for a few weeks. Isn’t that what any good mother would do?
