Yep, just call me Santa Claus. Now that the kids know who it is that buys the gifts for Christmas, all requests come straight to me. They don’t even bother with lists anymore, just, “Hey, mom! I want ______ for Christmas.”
Unfortunately, my memory isn’t quite what it used to be so I have to work very hard at remembering what everyone wants for Christmas. I make my own mental lists but those get kind of muddled. For example, I know that Boomer and Levi want football jerseys and Maggie wants makeup but I’m wracking my brain trying to remember whose MP3 player is lost and wants a new ipod. Those are the kinds of things that make me crazy at this time of year.
The one joy at this time of year is Kendyll. She’s almost two so this Christmas should be really magical. I can’t wait for that.

I think mental listing could end up into mental block. Sometimes it is mcuh better if we do list them in some planner or book what they really want so we will not forget about it.
Christmas time means gift sharing and we must need to give someone special gifts as sign of our love and affection so it is really necessary to jot down those stuff they really like in a piece of paper so we will not forget bout it.
