Kendyll will be 2 years old at the end of January. It’s really hard to believe that just two years ago, we didn’t even know her yet. We were just awaiting her arrival, anxious and impatient.
We’ve had a potty chair in the bathroom for several months. Sometimes Kendyll would sit on it but mostly she just took it apart and filled the bottom up with toys. She just wasn’t interested. The Big Toilet, though, captivated her. She’s been opening and closing the lid, flushing, flushing until I lead her away from it. So tonight I got the bright idea to put the potty seat on the Big Toilet and use the bottom of the potty turned upside-down as a stool.
Guess who loved that setup? Yep! Kendyll just had to sit on her big girl seat. Of course, she was fully dressed, including diapers. She isn’t ready to actually use the Big Toilet yet. That will come in time. For now, she’s happy to just sit there and read her Dora Goes Potty book. What is it about toilets and reading, anyway?

She is adorable! Did you see on Oprah yesterday, Heidi Klum announced to the world that her son went in the potty! LOL He will love that it was announced on national tv when it is played back for him later!
She is so beautiful… I do not know what it is about reading on the potty. When I
see men coming out of the office bathroom with a newspaper under their arms I have to
look the other way.. (or I will laugh out loud) Uhm what do I do on the potty..
Think..
