Shuffling Kids

Maggie had a friend stay here this weekend while Boomer stayed with a friend from school. Actually, Boomer went to Fright Night at Kenneywood on Friday with his friends while Maggie and her friends went to the Brooke Hills Haunted House. And Levi hung out with my on Friday but spent the night with his buddy Isaac last night.

Next weekend is going to be similar since Maggie wants her friend to stay and Boomer will insist he’s no where near them. And I’m stuck dealing with keeping it all straight. Sometimes I think I need some kind of scheduling or collaboration software to keep this family running smoothly. Gee, and this one from epazz has a 30 day money back guarantee, too. Can’t beat that! But it looks like it would be much better for business than my family.

There goes my mind wandering again. Is it any wonder I can barely remember my name most days?

  • Funny you would say we need software to keep the family calendar.. Joe and I are
living alone..however and it’s a big however. Between his daughter who is developmentally
disabled staying with us every other weekend. Noah who is four on the same schedule..
All of the other grandchildren..remember there are 7 in total, plus my great grandchild
all wanting our time..we need an agent to schedule time so they can each see us a
fair amount of time.. Them my daughter tells us she needs us?

Soo, maybe I should check out the software too.. ? We are so darn busy..I’m using
my day timer for our social life…go figure..this is suppose to our slow time..

  • Hi!

Sounds like the kids have a good time! I envy you the patience to deal with kids over every weekend! LOL

Hey, I think we are neighbors, kinda sorta! Well, in the big scheme of things! If you live near Kennywood, that is. I’m in WV! I went to Kennywood when I was about 12. My older sister and her husband and family took me for my birthday! I loved it! I remember bringing home a hermit crab in a box. It was a lovely, light green, and I named it Cucumber!

Anyhoo, this is my first visit to your blog, and I wanted to say hi!

    Have a great day!
