Countdown To Vegas

Several of us are trying to decide where to stay in Las Vegas when we go in November. I really like the Sahara hotel but I’m not sure if everyone else will be staying there or not. I think we’d like to book our rooms in the same hotel. We plan on having loads of fun together.

I know this will be a great time. We’re not just a bunch of bloggers; we’ve become friends, too. And we’re all just a little crazy so there’s no telling what’s going to happen. Fun times!

  • I find that the Sahara is too far at the end of the strip. For me, when it comes to Vegas, I’d prefer to stay as central as possible. Imperial Palace, although it’s an older place, is very affordable and is about as central as it gets. For a little more, you can stay at Monte Carlo, Bally’s, or Flamingo Hilton, all of which are very central.

  • Hi, I just found your site. I live in Vegas, so if you have any questions, let me know! I’m pretty new to blogging, and I guess I lucked out that the blogging convention is coming to my town!

  • Las Vegas is truly an adult wonderland!! Do have fun!! There are sooooo many good hotels to pick from. some are just that,(good hotels, with casinos) others are super resorts. while the strip hotels are convenient, the price can be high. the down town hotels are fun too!! and offer conviente access to the strip. I gamble some and always consider what I want to pay for sleeping quarters (which all offer pretty much the same thing, good beds good a/c, room service, cable TV,good food, ect.)VS what I want to invest gambling, going to shows, ect.(if you want to play craps, the tables are better downtown). Have fun and remember do NOT go over your budget.(if you need one). Don’t play drinking too much, or with scared money!! On the strip Imperial Palace is not a bad choice. it’s kind of central strip. • I’m not much of a gambler or a drinker. I’m mostly excited to be able to meet so many of my online friends. And yes, we have settled on the Imperial Palace. Thanks for that advice, Todd!
