Kennywood!

Anyone who lives within 50 miles of Pittsburgh knows all about Kennywood. It’s a local amusement park where just about every school, band, or other group goes for field trips. It’s a tradition. Every adult around here can tell you about the year they were finally tall enough to ride the Racer or the Jack Rabbit. Everyone remembers their first time on the Thunderbolt. And no one forgets their first trip with that special someone through the Old Mill which is now Garfield’s Nightmare.
Last Thursday, Kendyll made her first trip to Kennywood. Like her father, she showed no fear on any ride in Kiddie Land. From the flying Trolly and the SS Kenny to the Little Pitfall, Kendyll laughed and squealed and kept us running around.
First stop of the day was the Merry-go-round. I was right in front of Brit and managed to get this picture of her leaning in toward Nick and Kendyll.

How cute is that? I remember being little and riding the merry-go-round at the nearby amusement park. Best times ever. It looks like you guys had so much fun!
That’s an adorable picture!
Aww, that’s a great picture!

We did! It was probably one of the best days we’d ever had at the park. No one got sick or cranky; it never rained and we all had a great time. Can’t wait till next year!
