Unfortunatley there are those who think a talent for football excuses criminal behavior. In my opionion 5 years isn't long enough let alone 18 months. The only silver lining in this cloud is that it raises awareness of a somewhat underground problem. There is a bill in the Georgia State Legislature right now that will broaden the laws concerning dog fighting. Hopefully the recent events surrounding Vick and his connections to Atlanta will help make that bill a reality.
