It won’t be long before I’ll be looking over college information for another of my children. Both Boomer and Maggie are now in high school so I’m sure we’ll be doing this again. I’ve checked out a few sites, some local and some, like Gibbs, as far away as New Jersey.
I don’t want my kids going too far from home but there was something about Gibbs College that appealed to me. They have a Gibbs Express, which is a bus that transports student around on campus and nearby Livingston. What a great idea! That eliminates the need for a student to have a car on campus and for a freshman, I really like that idea.
So I probably will still want the kids closer than that but I wonder if any of our local colleges would consider such terrific idea. I’ll have to make a note of that for when we begin visiting different campuses.
