When my son, Nick, told me last month that he was buying a motorcycle so he could ride back and forth to work more economically, I was okay with that. After all, Nick is 19, works hard to support Brit and the baby, and has always loved bikes. Besides, it’s good for him to establish credit by making payments on this bike.
Nick told me that he’s looking at buying another bike, this one from our neighbor. I don’t have a problem with that except that Brit’s car is starting to die. I think he may be in the market for a new vehicle that can transport a baby in a car seat.
But as I mentioned, Nick is 19. That means he’s not thinking that far ahead. It also means that he’ll figure out a way to cover it all. That’s how it is when you’re young - nothing is impossible.
