My Own Internet Marketing Consultant

Let me tell you a little secret about bloggers. We don’t just write blogs. We read blogs, too. That’s right. Sometimes we get so caught up in reading other people’s blogs that we almost forget to write in our own.

You may wonder what kind of blogs a blogger would read. The answer is simple: All kinds! One of our favorite types, though, is the blog that helps to be better at what we do, from using proper grammar and finding interesting topics to optimizing our blogs for search engines and promoting them throughout the internet.

I’ve found that anyone can claim to be an SEO expert and start a blog about the topic. Finding a real internet marketing consultant who offers tips and tricks on his blog is quite a treat. Reuben Yau is that expert and finding his blog has been the highlight of my week.

The hot topic among bloggers and most other website owners is PageRank. Love it or hate it, Google holds much control over our online worth with their mysterious PageRank algorithm. I’ve read through more forum debates regarding PageRank than I can even remember and I just know that tomorrow, I’ll stumble upon another. Reuben has broken the PageRank mystery down enough that even I can understand it. He busts some myths in the process and his explanations make perfect sense to me.

Reuben’s blog is one of those that you just have to add to your feed reader. You really don’t want to miss anything he has to say about internet marketing or SEO. He’s recently been hired by ECNext out of Columbus, Ohio where he’ll be in charge of the SEO for more than 40 sites. I know he’s in the process of moving right now which is why he hasn’t been posting on his blog as often. That’s good, though. It gives everyone a chance to read his past articles and check out his list of SEO tools so you’ll be ready for his next installment just as soon as he and is family are settled in Columbus. And don’t forget to subscribe to his feed. You don’t want to miss even one of his articles!

  • Glad you liked it, Dorothy! I’ve already learned quite a bit from Reuben.

BTW, your comments would go through without approval if you’d leave out the link within the comment. Your name is linked to your site when you comment anyway so you’re getting the linkback from there. :)

I don’t mind that you put your link in but my settings require a manual approval (to keep out those comment spammers selling stuff.) Just in case you were wondering why your posts don’t go through immediately. :)
