Boomer stayed with his friend, Chris, last night. Chris’s dad took them and their other friends, Brian and Zak, to Kennywood for the day.
It’s been two years since I’ve been to Kennywood. Seems my kids go every year but I just haven’t had the chance lately. How does that happen?
The great thing about Kennywood is that it’s one of the few amusement parks that have picnic shelters and they actually encourage you to bring your own food in coolers rather than buying food there. Now isn’t that a great idea?
Boomer seems to have had a lot of fun. I think it’s time to plan a day trip for the family. I’m feeling the need to ride a Pirate Ship.

You don’t mean one of those amusement park rides where the ship goes wayyyyy up and then wayyyy down and then waayyyyy up and then wayyyy down and never seems to end and you are closing your eyes hoping it will be over any day! Tell me that you don’t like that thing! do you?
It goes up one way, then down and up the other way. This is it:
Love it!
