Graduation

Maggie’s graduation was so nice! It started with a Mass and ended with a huge surprise – we all chipped in to hire a limo to drive the kids around the town for an hour. It was kind of their last “field trip” together as a class. Hopefully, I’ll get around to posting the pictures in the next week or so.
Which reminds me, I have loads of pictures to crop and post. Time time time.
Today is Levi’s last day of school. HURRAY! Two down, one to go.
Did I ever mention that I hate sending the kids to school? Well, I do.
Anyway. Maggie looked much too grown up last night. Her boobs are bigger than mine and both of my sisters’ all combined. All the girls looked like perfect ladies but I wasn’t at all surprised when every single one of them kicked off their shoes at the banquet and ran around barefoot. Typical 14 year old girls, caught between girlhood and womanhood. I love it.

I get a lump in my throat when I read about milestones like this for other people’s kids., My daughter is 4 and the reality of her being older is so odd for me. So exciting, so sad, so odd.
Yeah, my youngest will be 11 in less than two weeks. Hard to believe. I think I’ll take his milestones as hard as I did those of my oldest. Something about the first and last, you know?
