My kids have been bugging me about getting a new TV. I don’t want one. I don’t watch that much television to need anything bigger than the 32″ we have now. And the kids certainly don’t need to be sitting in front to of the TV more than they do already.
Most of the time, there’s nothing on that I want to watch anyway. During the day I get to choose between news, courtTV or yet another Maury show that tests kids and dads for DNA or cheating husbands with a lie detector. Do I really need to see that in High Definition?
I’ll admit, football season tempts me to go with a bigger TV. As long as I can remain strong for those few months, we’re safe though.
