I was placing yet another online order today and got to wondering about ordering my medications online. I’ve been ordering my dog’s heart worm and flea medicine online but hadn’t really thought about my own prescriptions. While researching, I noticed that it was much easier to find Canadian pharmacies than US ones.
That’s interesting. I’m sure it has something to do with laws. Or at least that’s what I’m assuming. I know I order my contact lenses online and my eye doctor has to fact my contact prescription to the company before they’ll fill my order. I guess that’s how it’s done for medications as well. Perhaps the difference in Canada and the US has to do with the government sponsored insurance Canada has. I think more research is in order.
