this is true, I do this as well with things like the internet bill, satellite, blockbuster online, etc. take 10 small monthly bills and put them into one credit card bill to pay off every month. Saves ya money in checks! Plus you know everything is paid on time and you only have to sit down once.

That’s how I use my debit card. If I use it today, I can log on to my bank and see my purchase right there. I just like the idea of not buying things unless I have the money right there.

Air miles could come in handy when my husband gets these jobs in Hawaii. On the other hand, putting gas in the cars is killing me. Maybe I want gas miles instead.

I gotta disagree with you.. i uese my card for everything!.. i find it soo easy i don’t know maybe its just me. But it allows me to track my spending better too i find.

I like my Washington Mutual credit cards, they’re really nice. You can check your credit score for free whenever you want, and they have really low rates.

I got my first credit card when I first turned 18. I had been reading finance books and magazines since I was 16 though, so I was prepared. I bought 1 thing a month (usually a game or hat or something) and paid it off. When the next ‘better’ card came along, i took it and canceled the first one. I’m pretty happy with the card I have now, a decent rate, and a good long line of credit for big emergencies (I’m thinking like… a blown car engine?). But the one thing I’ve neglected to really look at… is miles. My mom and dad flew across the nation for $60 last week. I need to look into the miles further.
