I’m starting to go overboard with the supplements again. I do this every so often. I read so much about health and all these wonderful supplements and just have to have them all. That’s ridiculous, isn’t it?
My goal right now is to lose this extra weight that I gained when I quit smoking. It’s hung on long enough. I’m sure there’s a supplement out there to help me; I just need to figure out which one. I’m interested in ionamin and may try it first. I like the idea of herbals so that seems about the best choice.
Anyone else try that one? If so, let me know.

He he I do that too, go overboard!
The older I get, the more supplements I buy. But I think you have to keep taking them if you want them to work, right?
OK! BOOKMARKED. LOVE YOUR FUN WAY. I identify with this one. Please do tell me HOW YOU QUIT SMOKING? I am a contradiction in every aspect. Work Out - Smoke - Take the lastest of supplements - Drink Wine, etc. I’m sure you get the picture. Yesterday, I was almost talked into some “HOT SHOT” new supplement for a mere $99.00 a month. Still considering that miracle supplement!
Sorry I didn’t respond to this right away, Carol. I’m so behind in everything!
I smoked for 33 years and was up to three packs of kools/day. Before I quit I came up with reasons that really mattered: my son who has asthma; my other son who is a recovering addict; the money that I was wasting. Then I set my date.
And then I started praying. I decided to turn to my higher power and work the 12 steps since cigarettes are an addiction just like alcohol or drugs. Every time I had an urge to smoke, I prayed for the Holy Spirit to comfort me and calm my craving.
Not only did I make it through those first very difficult initial days and weeks, but I never once lost my temper with my kids or husband. That was the most amazing thing of all.
I’ve been a non-smoker for over 16 months. I still crave now and then but I pray and I get past it.
Good luck with your attempt!
