I wasn’t going to bring souvenirs home from Hawaii this time. I do that every time I go but it really does get expensive. And besides, all the kids have been to Hawaii already. A souvenir doesn’t seem as good as an actual trip.
Except that I thought it would be great to give my kids t-shirts and sea shell beads from St. Williams Catholic Church in Hanalei. They’re kind of souvenirs but they’re also nice catholic gifts that the kids can wear to school when they have free dress.
After I bought the items, I worried that the kids might not like them. I shouldn’t have been concerned. They loved the shirts and the beads! And they’re excited to wear them to school, too.
I love when I make a good buy!
