I know there are loads of movie reviewers online and on air. Some I agree with sometimes and some never seem to be in line with my thinking. So when I find someone who how writes what I’m thinking about movies, I tend to pay close attention. That’s how it is with Reviews and More, one of the best sites for honest reviews of movies and websites as well as recaps of TV shows.
My daughter Maggie, especially, is always asking for movies. She and her friend Amanda want to rent a movie every weekend but I’m not always sure which movies are appropriate and which are a waste of time. After reading The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants review I’m anxious to get that one for this coming weekend. Both girls have read the book so they’ll probably love the film. I just wish I’d read The Lady in the Water review before I let Maggie talk me into buying it.
But don’t think that I only rent or buy movies for Maggie. Oh, no. After reading the In Her Shoes review, I’m looking for that one at the video store, too. I think I’d had that on my list and then forgot about it.
I usually go straight for the movies reviews at Reviews and More but I think I’ll give some of the other categories a look, too. I’ve been looking for some new and interesting websites to visit and there’s over 80 reviews of those as wells as over 20 “check it out” posts. Looks like there’ll be quite a bit of reading to keep me busy.
