I admit, I’m no electrical genius. I’m not a television aficionado. The only reason I’d ever want High Definition TV is for footall. Yeah, that would be nice.
My son, on the other hand, thinks the world is not complete without High Def. I’ve tried to explain that our tiny cable company doesn’t even offer HDTV which prompted the incessant talk of satellite. Sure, that’s what I want.
But just as my son rushed out and bought a living room suite before he even had an apartment to put it, he’s gone out and purchased various accessories like HDMI cable. If he thinks I’m buying him a HDTV for his birthday, he’s going to be very disappointed. Not going to happen!
Where does he get that, anyway? Surely not from his level headed mom!
