All My Supplements

I remember years ago, watching an older relative take handfuls of supplements each day, hoping to prolong youth and ward off aging. I thought it was a waste of time and money. I was young and foolish.

So here I am, all these years later, trying to prolong youth and ward off aging. I’ve got a whole different perspective these days. It isn’t a waste of time and money but an attempt to give me more time at any cost. See? Different pespective.

I’ve recently added a new supplement to my daily doses and I think it’s making me feel better. I’ve been taking Sun Chlorella for at least 4 years. I don’t notice feeling especially good but if I stop taking it I feel very tired and run down. So I keep taking it.

I’ve been taking Hoodia for about a year now and I think it helps me in my weight loss battle. (And yes, this is a battle!) My B-complex was recommended by mom but I can’t remember why she told me to take it. Doesn’t matter, I listen to my mom! And now I’m also taking SAM-e. Seems to be helping with my mood but it needs more time before I know for sure.

So here I am, approaching 50 and filling my body with supplements that make big promises. Will they deliver? Not sure. But at least you can’t say I’m not trying! Old age, scram!
