We don’t use my front door. We have used it occasionally in the past but we can’t use it now. Before he left for Hawaii, my husband put weather stripping all around the front door so now we can’t open it. Just as well. When it opens, it kicks the thermostat on and that isn’t good.
But now I have this very nice foyer with a ceramic tile floor looking really naked. It needs something. It needs a really nice rug. It used to have a nice rug until Nick took it for his apartment. So now I’m on the hunt again.
I finally found a great Tufenkian Rug Sale going on right now in Arizona, New York and Las Angeles. Great prices on beautiful rugs that will look perfect in my foyer is a dream come true. I love the idea of a one-of-a-kind rug for that area; no one else will ever have one just like it. And there are so many styles to choose from!
And therein lies my problem. I’m having trouble narrowing my choice to just one rug for the foyer. I really want one for my dining room, too. Wonder if my husband will notice two rugs when he returns from Hawaii? Nah. I think I’ll go with two rugs!
