We’ve been through this before. I’m a pack rat. I’ma pack rat in real life and I’m a digital pack rat, too. Every file, download, zip file, font, text file, gif, whatever, that I’ve ever owned, is on my hard drive, a CD or a jump drive somewhere. Heck, I’d rather add more memory than delete any of my fonts!
If you’re like me and love fonts, you really ought to download Free Fonts and Dingbats at UrbanFont. I just love this site because not only do they have a great selection of free fonts, but it’s laid out with a total Web2.0 look and feel. They have a great selection of Dingbats, too.
While you’re there looking around, be sure to check out their forums, where you can talk about the specific fonts or get advice on working with fonts. And for some of the nicest articles on fonts, be sure to take a look at the UrbanFont Blog.
By the time I’m done at UrbanFonts, I’ll need to add another stick of memory for sure.
