Backgammon, Anyone?

I learned to play backgammon when I was 21 years old. I’d been playing Checkers, Chess, Chinese Checkers and loads of other games since I was just a kid. I even learned to play pinochle when I was just 7 years old. But I never learned to play backgammon.

My friend Big Ed taught me to play. He’d been my friend for many years and remained my friend even after I was married. My husband and I considered him part of our family. Back then, money was tight so we spent a lot of time playing board games at home. We had playoffs and tournaments. Those were tough times but we made them fun.

Now I can play backgammon online. How cool is that? Oh, and the software is a free download, too.
