Has It Really Been 10 Years?

Yeah, I guess it has. Levi will be 11 this year. So 10 years ago I was breastfeeding him, just as I had done with my older kids. 10 years is a long time and while I still believe that breast is best, some things have definitely changed.

I didn’t work outside the home when my kids were small. I did, however, find myself needing a breast pump twice, first with Jesse, my second son, and then with Levi, my 6th child. I never could get that first pump to work right but then, that was 1981. So I bought a new one in 1996 and it was definitely better.

I was so happy when I found out my granddaugher was going to be breastfed. After reading about the benefits at Le Leche League, Brit and my son decided that was the best choice. This past year when Britanie went back to work, she tried to use my old breast pump but she said it hurt. So she bought a new one and I couldn’t believe how much better they are now! I think she found a good one but it probably would have helped to have reliable Breast Pump Reviews to help new mothers who aren’t quite sure how to judge so many brands. Comparisons of the different pumps and explanations about the differences can ensure a wise purchase.

You know, it’s probably a good thing I’m past the age of babies and breastfeeding. This is bringing back really good memories. Yeah, breast is definitely best.
