Maggie straightens her hair. Her hair isn’t as curly as mine but it does have a nice wave. And she’s always wanting to straighten my hair.
Now, you have to understand that I straightened my hair every day during my teens. I started out laying my head on an ironing board while my cousin ironed my hair with a real iron. I then graduated to jumbo curlers and “wrapping.” I don’t have pics of my hair wrapped but I do have this one from my jumbo curler days.

So today Maggie talked me into letting her straighten my hair with her ceramic straightener. It was much faster than the old curlers and seemed to last longer, too. But I just don’t like it. Ilike my curls. The only advantage to the straight hair is that it looks longer. It reaches to my bra band in the back. When it’s curly, it just covers my collar. Yeah, my hair is that curly.
And now, here is my hair, straight. Oh, yeah. When it’s curly you can’t tell how uneven it is, either. I really need a trim.
