Crime Scene…Do Not Cross Yellow Line

There’s yellow crime scene tape wrapping around the big blue mailbox at our post office.

When the part time postal worker opened on Saturday, she went to get the mail from the box to be picked up by the guy in the truck. She found a white powder in the mail box. She called the postmaster who called the police who called the FBI.

First things first……On Friday night, Nick was at the Pier with me, eating wings. His buddies, both of whom were top suspects, were down state for a youth hunting seminar. These three could not have done this. These three were the first sought after. Their names were on everyone’s lips. Had they not been in specific places away from here, they would still be suspects. That pisses me off.

I have heard that the FBI did get some prints, which appeared to be those of a young person. They were “small” according to what I heard. I’ve also been told that there was a witness and that the witness was threatened with a 10 year sentence of his own if he didn’t tell what he saw.

Oh, yes, I also heard that the white powder was really flour. No surprise there. We have some wonderful cooks here. Lots of homemade bread and rolls…..

Can’t wait for the rest of this story.
