Three’s a charm?

Okay, I’m going to try this one more time.
I love the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I saw them last summer with my son and two of his friends. It was a great concert. I have Californication and Mother’s Milk. I had BloodSugarSexMagic. Jesse borrowed my car after which I could not find the CD. When I did locate it, it was cracked in three pieces. Several months later, a very dear friend burned a copy of it for me. I was thrilled. I loaned my car to my nephew. The CD turned up missing (along with my Nellie CD). He said it was stolen.
Okay, someone did not steal the other CD’s, the cell phone, the CD player, the speakers…..just two CDs, one homemade. That makes sense. Sure.
So yesterday, I stopped to pick up the new They Might Be Giants CD. (Yes, I love it.) The temptation to get my favorite RHCP CD was too great; I could not resist. I bought it. I told Jesse and Hoot that when they are using my car, they are to protect that CD with their lives.
If it turns up missing, broke, scratched or otherwise unusable, heads will roll!

Welcome to the March 5, 2007 edition of the Postie Carnival. This week’s theme is music, so prepare to be swept away with the melodic words of all the contributors.

Great music choices!
Yeah, I’m thinking that they were “stolen” alright! hehe
Oooh, I forgot all about the Red Hot Chili Peppers when I was doing my post. I love “Under the Bridge.”
I think I still have Blood Sugar Sex Magic if you want a copy!
Hmm, never was a big RHCP fan. Their Breaking the Girl song was really strange. That’s what’s so great about music, though. We can all have our favorites! My Purple Rain album was the same way…it always turned up missing.
My CDs always end up missing too! I think they are all in my teenage daughter’s room!
I like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, too. They did play around Austin, Texas quite a bit. I believe they have hit the big time now.

I let my contractors and laborers use my protable CD player & my CDs while they were working on the house. Siiiiiiigh! Have you got any idea what happens to those things when you use them in a sawdust-filled environment? I’ve replaced maybe three of the dozen or so they destroyed and still haven’t gotten around to replacing the CD player. Seems I just have to learn these things the hard way!
I had awful luck with Metallica’s Black Album, I think the copy I have now is the fourth one I bought! I love how they mysteriously vanish..
Hhahaha, I know what you should do with the CD! Insure it! Just kidding
